FEMINIST PORN AWARDS SELECTS NEW ZEALAND FILMS
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, March 24 2010 – The Toronto Feminist Porn Awards (FPA) has selected two films by kiwi director, Astrid Glitter for award contention in this years film festival being held this April in Toronto, Canada.
“JOHN” the first GUY LOVE® production from porn arthouse GLITTER FILMS® and Glitter’s first hetero collection entitled “TRIPLE X VIGNETTES” have both been nominated. “I am super excited. It was amazing to be selected for the Berlin Porn Festival and now the Toronto FPA. It is wonderful to be considered on a par with other top adult film producers,” said Astrid.
“The nominees on this year’s list continue to strive to provide erotic entertainment that is smart, sexy, and continues to appreciate women as viewers,” explains “Good For Her” the directors of the FPA, “As porn star and performance artist Annie Sprinkle famously said, ‘The answer to bad porn isn't no porn…it’s to try and make better porn!’ Good For Her couldn't agree more… we also believe that erotic fantasy is powerful, and that women and marginalized communities deserve to put their dreams and desires on film, too.” The Feminist Porn Awards showcase and honor those who are creating erotic media with a feminist sensibility.
