FEMINIST PORN AWARDS SELECTS NEW ZEALAND FILMS

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, March 24 2010 – The Toronto Feminist Porn Awards (FPA) has selected two films by kiwi director, Astrid Glitter for award contention in this years film festival being held this April in Toronto, Canada.

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, October 22, 2008 ­ We have become quite used to New Zealand films being recognized on the international stage. So to hear that an independent kiwi film is selected for an international film festival will come as no surprise. However, when it’s a porn film festival, your mouth likely opens and you are asking yourself ­ do we even produce porn in New Zealand?

The Vibrator Logs (V-Logs): Educational or just pornographic?

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, June 18, 2007 ­ The new online release from GLITTER FILMS “The Vibrator Logs: Amy’s Multi-Orgasmic Journey of Adventure,” can certainly be considered both.

This 27-minute film introduces kiwi actress Cadence Clearwater as Amy, a vibrator-virgin frustrated by the lack of information and the overwhelming choice when looking for her first vibrator. In an attempt to learn as well as educate others in her same position, Amy conducts her own market research on a variety of different vibrators; letting the audience watch as she tests each one and then providing her review and feedback once the test is ‘complete’.

Straight men and women, and lesbians will all find interest in this film which attempts, and succeeds to both entertain and educate. “I am constantly amazed by the selection of vibrators and sex-toys found in adult stores,” says Astrid Glitter, director of The V-Logs. “You can spend a long time trying perusing the selection, trying to guess which product might be good. This film can hopefully help point people in the right direction, so they spend less time choosing and more time enjoying!”
