What is your policy on condom
use?
We use condoms in all our productions, for any penetration
scenes. Before beginning any work with GLITTER FILMSyou will be expected
to have a recent STD and HIV/Aids test. No employee shall put themselves
or any other person at risk of injury during the course of their work at
GLITTER FILMS.
A high standard of cleanliness is required for filming. Performers are expected
to be clean, trimmed or shaven, and douche as is required for their role.
How much will I get paid?
Rates depend on types of roles and the actors experience as well as the
type and number scenes.
No matter what your pay rate is, GLITTER FILMSpay you as an independent
contractor. We are required to take withholding tax according to Inland
Revenue requirements and as an independent contractor, you will also be
responsible for any ACC Levies.
Where are GLITTER FILMSproductions sold?
GLITTER FILMSare marketed and sold both internationally and within New
Zealand. A key feature of GLITTER FILMSproductions is that they are “Made
In New Zealand” and are therefore proudly promoted here at home.
I would like to be in the film, but I don’t
want to be an adult actor?
GLITTER FILMSmake multiple genres of adult film (gay/lesbian/straight/bi).
There are often extra roles in films and lead non-sex roles.
What kind of sex acts will I have to perform?
There isn’t a particular focus in GLITTER FILMSproductions, on
any one style of sex, positions etc. The sex scenes in our productions
are written to go along with the style, intent, story and vision of the
entire production.
In the interview we ask that you tell us your boundaries and if there
is anything in particular you like to do or have a special talent for.
We also ask you to give us an idea of the kind of people you are attracted
to as we make every effort to put the right people together in a scene.
Besides the sex, you will be required for any action/dialogue scenes in
the film, still shots for publicity, voice-overs if required, and publicity
for the film ie: attending the launch party. Other publicity for lead
actors include radio and television interviews, DVD signings, newspaper/magazine
publicity and other kinds of events – it’s fun to be a Glitter
Star.
What happens if I can’t perform?
Naturally, being able to get a hard on and ejaculate on cue is a major
requirement of a male adult actor. If you are not able to perform, you
are not fulfilling the job you have been hired to do. The audition process
is designed to be uncomfortable and to put you in a similar situation
as on a film set.
At the moment, we do not employ fluffers – you are responsible for
getting and maintaining your erection.
For female actors of course a lot of the above doesn’t apply.
What happens if I change my mind?
Think very carefully about what you are doing. Change your mind before
you accept a role with GLITTER FILMS.
How old do I have to be?
We only take actors over 19. You must prove your age.
Why do you need photo ID?
For sale in the United States, adult film producers must follow the guidelines
set out by 18U.S.C.A. § 2257 which states that all producers of adult
contact must maintain records for all actors involved in "actual
sexually explicit conduct" showing proof of their age (over 18 years)
and proof of identity – a short extract is below.
Even though we must have your legal name, you can use any performer name
you want for any GLITTER FILMSproduction. We respect your privacy and
confidentiality and will only use your performer’s name on production
credits.
We do not share your private details outside of GLITTER FILMSunless you
have given your consent or where we are required to by law.
What is a typical filming day like?
Days normally start early. Ahead of time you will have received script,
shooting schedule and location information. Shooting schedules are normally
organized around locations, actors.
The crew often arrives slightly ahead of the actors to prepare the shoot.
The cast arrives and goes into make-up and wardrobe. Once we are ready
to shoot the scene the director will tell the actors what is required
from them for this scene.
When shooting sex scenes, we tend to let them flow naturally. As a sex
actor you need to be aware of where the cameras are and work with them.
Sex scenes generally take less time to shoot than the dialogue scenes.
Being on a GLITTER FILMSset is actually a lot of fun. Days are long,
it is hard work and there is often a lot of waiting around - we have a
great crew, everyone is professional and everyone loves doing what they
do. At the end of the day if we aren’t having fun – why do
it at all. |
